Crimson Retreat

The Crimson Oasis Architecture Project is an initiative deeply rooted in the royal history and cultural legacy of the Alaoui family. Located in the serene rural landscapes near Fes, Morocco, the project seeks to blend traditional Moroccan architectural elements with contemporary sustainable practices. The site, spanning 27 hectares, offers panoramic views and a tranquil environment that is well-suited for this visionary development.

The project is designed to honor the Alaoui family’s commitment to community welfare, sustainability, and their enduring connection to the land. It encompasses multifunctional spaces that include residential areas for the family, luxury guest accommodations, hospitality venues, recreational facilities, and educational spaces dedicated to supporting individuals with Down syndrome. These facilities aim to reflect a harmonious balance between modern luxury and the principles of modesty, environmental stewardship, and cultural respect.

Central to the project’s vision is the integration of renewable energy solutions, efficient water management systems, and the use of local materials to minimize environmental impact. The design emphasizes preserving the natural beauty of the landscape while creating spaces that foster community engagement, ecological preservation, and a connection to Morocco’s rich heritage.

The site is divided into 6 zones. Creating green corridors between each zone. The royal family zone being the most private.

A transition multi purpose space.
A guest zone with Reception Area, support team, and Cabanas.
A recreational Zone, With educational area, Art gallery, Gym Spa and Restaurants
A wedding zone, indoor and outdoor halls
A Crafts zone for the community that includes planting, Animal Husbandry Areas, leather and metal craft.

With a focus on innovation and sustainability, the Crimson Oasis Architecture Project aspires to serve as a model for future developments that respect historical and environmental contexts while meeting the needs of a globalized world. The resulting design will be both a sanctuary for the Alaoui family and a symbol of sustainable luxury that supports and enriches the local community.
