Parkline Place

Parkline Place is a 39-storey commercial tower strategically positioned above the northern entrance of the new Pitt Street Metro Station in Sydney. Located at the convergence of the city’s southern CBD and the Midtown retail precinct, the tower features a glass veil celebrating the entrance plaza, allowing daylight to illuminate the station throughout the day. The tower’s design incorporates three vertical blocks with curved corner glazing, creating a seamless connection with the station entrance. The entrance lobby boasts a triple-height volume leading
to commercial spaces, including shops, restaurants, and cafes.

A podium aligns with adjacent heritage-listed buildings, utilizing a sandstone and bronze palette to connect with the surrounding architectural context. The tower’s massing emphasizes functionality, offering a large flexible floorplate with uninterrupted views of parks and Sydney Harbour. The design promotes a collaborative workspace with interconnecting stairs, social hubs, breakout spaces, and client meeting rooms.

The tower’s south-facing elevation minimizes solar exposure, employing minimal sunshades, while the east and west elevations utilize reduced glazed areas and horizontal ribbons to manage heat gain and maximize views of the parks and beyond.
